Woodend Cottage

Situated 50 mins from Melbourne CBD, Woodend Cottage is a self-contained quintessential French provincial cottage positioned in the Macedon Ranges. This 2-bedroom cosy abode is located about 3km from the quiet township of Woodend. The property is fully equipped and can accommodate up to 4 people (1 Queen size and 2 Singles or King Bed). Nestled amongst the gum trees the cottage comprises spacious open plan living dining, as well as generous outside barbecue and dining vista.

Positioned on top of a hill the accommodation takes full use of its surrounds. The doonas/duvets are made courtesy of Jason & Eric the resident Alpacas. The cottage is perfectly equipped to cope with the uniquely extreme weather patterns of Woodend, including reverse cycle heating-cooling, electric blankets…and for those romantic evenings, a wood fire heater.

The flora and fauna at Woodend cottage offers visitors a veritable taste of a uniquely Aussie experience. Surrounded by the rare Blackwood gum trees glimpse up to the skies and you may be lucky enough to encounter Keano the resident Koala. Wake up to the sound of the Kookaburras and listen to the frog symphony when the sun goes down. At night admire the stars, simply astonishing!
