Andy Macqueen - Wentworth Falls

Andy Macqueen researches, writes and publishes the history of wild places in the Blue Mountains area, including the Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd and Wollemi National Parks. His special interests are Aboriginal history, early Colonial exploration, bushwalking and conservation history.
He has produced several books:

‘Blue Mountains to Bridgetown: the life and journeys of Barrallier, 1773-1853’ (1993, sold out)

‘Back from the Brink: Blue Gum Forest and the Grose Wilderness’ (First Edition 1997 sold out, Second Edition 2007 available)
‘Somewhat perilous: the journeys of Singleton, Parr, Howe, Myles and Blaxland in the Northern Blue Mountains’ (2004, still available)
