Our client a Federal Government Agency is looking an experienced Early Child professional to join their team in Geelong. The Branch focuses on the delivery and implementation of the agencies Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Approach for children under seven years of age and their families.
The duties will include:
- Collaborating with the business unit and wider Agency to support the understanding and roll out of the ECEI Approach
- Improve key stakeholder knowledge and interpretation of agency legislative and policy frameworks as related to children and families.
- Carry out advisory support to facilitate Agency wide knowledge of the importance of Best Practice early childhood intervention for children under the age of seven years with disability and developmental delay.
- Contributing to achieving outcomes in line with the key deliverables of the ECS Branch.
- Highlight opportunities for continuous improvement of the ECEI Approach and having input into the strategic direction of the ECS Branch.
- Develop meaningful and actionable information from data.
- Supporting the delivery of training packages with EC Partner trainers and the ECS training team.
To be successful you should have:
- Experience in providing detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.
- A strong background and knowledge across the Early Childhood sector
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills
- The ability to interpret policy and legislation
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
