Job vacancy Pest Control Technician

We have an exciting opportunity within Brisbane City Council, Urban Amenities as a Pest Control Technician who can work in Brisbane and the surrounding suburbs. As part of the team, you will be working on various projects around Brisbane.

About your new role

Working with Urban Amenities you will undertake Pest Management and Control tasks. This role will require you to inspect premises for signs of pests. Also remove unwanted pests, such as roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, mosquitoes, ticks, and termites that infest buildings and surrounding areas.

• High level of attention to detail.
• Demonstrate Pest Management skills through previous work history.
• Ability to work autonomously and within team environments.
• Ability to problem solve, think critically, make decisions and organize work flow.

What you will need to exceed

We are looking for an experienced Pest Control Technician who is reliable and enjoys providing high-quality work. A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety and ensuring all work is conducted according to safety procedures and guidelines. In order to be a successful applicant, the following licences are required:

• Mandatory Licences:
• Pest Management Technician Licence
• Construction White Card
• Manual Car Licence
• Beneficial Licences:
• Termite Management Licence
• Confined Space licence
