Christine Bryden Author, Speaker, Dementia Advocate - Caboolture

Christine Bryden is a Dementia survivor. Living with Dementia since 1995, Christine Bryden, against all odds, is now an Author, International Speaker and Dementia Advocate. Christine has written two books about living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia that are available to purchase from her website. They have been written to help support those diagnosed with dementia. Christine’s books also provide a unique insight to what it is like, living with Dementia, so that family, friends and the general public are better able to understand this disease and those who are going through it. Christine is passionate about overcoming the stigma surrounding Alzheimer’s and Dementia by creating a dementia-friendly society.

dementia, to see compassionate care of people with dementia (at all stages) and to see real efforts being made towards find cures for the more than one hundred diseases that cause dementia.
With previous speaking engagements around Australia, Japan, Greece and The UK, Christine has seen progress in the worldwide Alzheimer’s movement to include people with dementia at conferences, and in increasing the level of encouragement and support. Christine is also the first person with dementia to be appointed as a member of the Steering Committee of the Statewide Dementia Clinical Network.
