Accelerated Trauma Recovery Mandala Therapy Moonyah Counselling - Scoresby

Accelerated Trauma Recovery Mandala Therapy was developed by Linda Bearup in 2005. It is an exciting way to resolve previously unresolved and problematic historic trauma. It is strongly informed by trauma theory and recent psycho-neurobiological research into the impact of trauma on the developing psyche and brain. It was independently researched in 2006 with Commonwealth funding and found to be efficient in a variety of ways including resolving trauma. Participants found they had reduced levels of alienation, increased awareness of the impact of the trauma on their lives, increased ability to stay present with themselves at times they would previously dissociate, increased levels of trauma resolution, increased ability to see a future. Therapeutic and Training Workshops for clients and for professionals are held monthly.
