Teeth whitening is becoming more popular to give the teeth a refreshed, cleaner look. Patients visit the dentist to have impressions taken, which are sent off to a dental technician, to have moulds made of the top and lower teeth.
These moulds are then issued, making sure they fit snugly against the teeth. At home, the patient then applies a viscous, gel like substance to the moulds.
